---
Becky Casey will be presenting her dissertation topic as well as her methodological apporach:

Studying injured workers – Focus on health status and health experiences

Health status and health care experiences of people with physical impairments are often different than the experiences of those without physical impairments. In this research I will study the differences in health status and health care experiences of injured workers with permanent impairments, people with physical impairments for other reasons and non-disabled people. There is a focus on injured workers as they often face negative stereotypes and stigma associated with the label ‘injured worker’ which may impact their health status and health care experiences.

For the purpose of the brownbag breakfast I will be talking about the methodologies used in the three research projects for my dissertation. I will be using longitudinal multilevel analysis, binary logistic regression and narrative analysis in my dissertation.
